The weather is growing warmer. Things are heating up. As the temperature rises, why not bring your date out where you can both show off your form? Dress down and have some water fun. Here are some suggestions to have a great swim date:
- You have to know how to swim, even a little. Having to save you from drowning in less than 6 feet of water is unappealing.
- Wear the right outfit. Don’t go to the beach and then refuse to shuck off your clothes. There are lots of swim trunks or shorts; one of the styles is bound to suit your body structure. Don’t worry about not looking like Mr. Universe. Women aren’t impressed by just biceps and abs. They look for genuine, interesting conversation and good manners as well.
- Wear sun protection (an absolute must!) You may want to bronze up a little to look less pale. Forget the zinc oxide! It may be better protection and all that but it looks way too geeky. Leave off for now and wear it another time.
- Do your homework. Find out what activities both of you would like to try out and make sure that the activity is available where you’re going. Lucky you if all she wants to do is lie on the beach and work on her tan. Be prepared to join her in parasailing or bungee jumping if she chooses, though she probably won’t force you to do so. Admittedly not everyone is suited for heights.
The important thing is to have fun! Build a sand castle or two and enjoy the sunset together. Frolic under the sun and enjoy relaxing in each others company.
